i started out with the active grow sunwhite 8 lamp t5 fixture. My tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers did so well that i decided to convert all my t8 fluorescent fixtures into ballast free to use t8 active grow sunwhite bulbs too (t8 review starts at 2:23). I have harvested so many awesome tasting vegetables. My lettuces did phenomenal under these grow lights. The hardiness and texture were way better than when i was using full spectrum fluorescent.
